Custom Hand Made EntreesGOURMET SAUSAGES
Our hand-made sausages are leaner than most available and
packed with flavor. Most come in an 80gram portion and in a
straight natural casing.
Our varieties include:
- Chicken or turkey with apple.
- Turkey and sun-dried tomato.
- Duck and cranberry
- Chicken basil
- Our no-meat veggie sausage
- CAB Bulldog Sausage
PREPARED SPECIALTY PORTIONS
Over 25 years ago, Intercity Packers was asked if we
could produce stuffed chicken entrees for the airline
industry that were custom made to their formulas and
with size restrictions to fit the airplane oven trays. At
that time, few manufacturers were eager to deviate
from their normal production runs. Intercity Packers
with our "Yes, we do" attitude, even back then, started
to produce these products under a new category of
production we call Specialty Portion.
Other customers found out that we were willing to do
smaller production runs to their specifications and we
started producing a variety of stuffed chicken entrees,
bacon-wrapped scallops and other related products.
Then when Vancouver was fortunate to get Expo 86, we
were asked again if we could help produce seasoned pork
souvlakis in large quantities to a proprietary recipe that
was passed down through the family for generations.
This was the start of our skewered kabob line of products.
It wasn't long before other hotels, restaurants and institutions started to feel labor shortages and we received even more inquiries for custom made entrees as long as we followed proprietary recipes and the quality was equal to that produced in their own kitchens. Then came more products like Maui ribs, satays, chicken risotto, and numerous other products.
Many customers now use Intercity Packers as an extension of their own kitchens to produce their recipes to the quantities required and when needed.
Some of the prepared specialty portions we produce include:
- Beef, pork, lamb and chicken kabobs
- Beef and Chicken satays
- Chicken Kiev, Florentine, California, Neptune, Risotto,
a la Cordon, Canadian, Princess, Mexicana and Okanagan
both in a dinner size portion and a smaller country style
lunch or club meal size.
- CAB Bulldog sausage with a bite.
- Veal Cordon and Champignon.
